Speed Networking Event at Citibank Park

Thursday's SpeedMeet Wrap-up.

The April '09 LongIslandbiz2biz.com "SpeedMeet" was a huge success!

The event was held at The Long Island Ducks "Press Room" located at Citibank Park. The evening began with dinner as the group of 36 professionals from diverse fields such as law, marketing, finance, medicine, cosmetics, technology and entertainment assembled.

The Ducks Assistant GM, VP Sales, Doug Cohen, who hosted the event, welcomed everyone and discussed the exciting 10th Season kickoff now under Gary Carter's Management.

Doug also donated 4 opening day tickets which were won by LONGISLANDBIZ2BIZ.COM member and editorial contributor Sheryl Victor.

Roger Kahn of Intelligent Office of Garden City then discussed the importance of a business' image in today's market environment.

Then Paul Levine, LongIslandBiz2Biz.com Publisher, spoke about the site's new look and social media functionality. Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Dawn Amato kicked off the networking event by explaining the rules of the "SpeedMeet."
